JapanxReader: Fireworks

  You look at your reflection in a beautifully crafted mirror on the wall. Your [e/c] are shinning brightly and your [h/c] hair is pulled back and looking it's best. You look at the kimono Japan lent you to wear tonight,'He didn't need to go THIS far...' You think.

  You were visiting Japan, and staying at his own home which was an old-styled Japanese house with sliding doors and beds near the floor. Japan said he was going to take you to a festival tonight and you were really excited.

  Then you start wondering where he is,'It's not like him at all to be late.'

  Then, your door slides open, interrupting your thoughts. It's Japan, aka Kiku Honda, standing outside of your door in a kosode,"I'm truely sorry _________."

  You smiled at the Japanese man,"It's fine Japan. I'm in no rush to get there."

  He looked up at you and blushed a bit. He straightened up and then held his right arm out. His head was down,"If you will _____________, we should get going."

  You nod at him and walk beside him. He shut the room to your door and you were off, into the night.

  The festival was beautiful. Little children were running around with candy and treats they had won at booths, everyone was dressed up very traditionally and there were beautiful lights and colors everywhere.

  You smile at Japan in excitement,"So Ja-I mean Kiku, what shall we do first?"

  He blushed a bit,"Well, not many people ask me for my opinion so I guess whatever you wish to do first ___________, I'm sure we can-"

  You grab his hand and he shuts up within a second, cutting him off in mid-sentence,"Well, I want to eat." Your stomach was growling a bit,"Anything is good."

  Japan smiled a bit and pulled you along,"I know a good thing for you to try." He pulls you up to a booth. There are little children running around with fish (made of bread) and steaming. You wait for Japan while your stomach growls seeing the food.

  "H-here," Japan puts one of those fish in your hands,"It's called 'taiyaki'."

  You look at it for a moment and take a small bite from the head. Your face glows,"This tastes delicious!"

  As you and Japan walk around, you see that you two are attracting alot of attention from people. You smiled a bit and hold Japan's hand. He pulls it away and covers his red face,"P-please try to refrain from holding my hand ___________."

  You pout and grab it anyway,"Relax! We're friends. You don't need to be embarresed Kiku."

  He relaxed a bit after you said that and you two continue going down the booths. You see on with fish swimming around and stop. You see a really cute fish swimming around. Japan looks at you,"Do you wish to play this ____________?"

  I shrugged,"How do you play?"

  He smiled,"Well, you see those little catchers?" He pointed at a cup with little things that looks like small nets, but instead of a net it was paper,"You have one try to get the fish out of the water."

  Japan rolled his sleeves back. He handed a few yen over to the working the booth and grabbed a net. He pointed to the fish you were eyeballing,"This one?"

  You nod and smiled a bit. He stood there concentraiting and before you knew it, the little fish was in the air along with a small trail of water,"Amazing Kiku! Simply amazing!" You fling yourself at him and hug him from behind,"Thank you!"

  His face was red right now and he hung his head.

  "So, what is this candy called again?" You ask Japan as he gives you a stick of pocky. You two were on a hillside so you could watch the fireworks above the festival. It shone below you and it looked beautiful.

  He smiled,"It's called 'pocky' and it's really good. Try one." He hands you one and you take a small bit.

  "This is really good! When I go home-" You stop. You were leaving to go home tomorrow. You wouldn't see Japan for awhile.

  He noticed you had an upset face and pulled out the last stick of pocky,"I'm going to teach you a game called the pocky game." He said, waving it a bit,"We both eat a different end until someone meets th middle. The first person wins."

  You nod and go along. You blush, noticing that you were close to Japan's face but as you continued eating, your faces got really close,"What do you win exactly?" I say out of the side of your mouth.

  Japan took the last bite out of the pocky. That's when he leaned close and kissed your lips. You sit there stunned for a minute and then you wrap your arms around his neck. The fireworks shoot off but you fail to notice. Japan pulls away after a minute and looks at you with a red face.

  He looked down at his lap.

  Boom.

  "I'm sorry, ___________."

  Boom.

  You smile,"It's fine."

  Boom.

  He looks up at you,"Really?"

  Boom.

  You smile at him and nod.

  Boom.

  "Then please, ___________, accept my feelings for you and stay with me here."

  Boom.

  You smiled,"Yes!"

  A firework exploded very loudly and startles you. You fall onto Japan and you two roll down the hill together a bit, laughing. Your [h/c] hair is a mess but your [e/c] eyes are still shining with the colors of all the fireworks.

  And Japan kisses you, once more.
