Ciel couldn't find any comfort in his bed. Something in your eyes just kind of sent him into an uncomfortable state. They were just so inhuman, so cold and dry within them.
Opening his eyes, he sat up to try and relax. He barely noticed that there were beads of sweat condensed on his forehead until the coolness of the air hit him. Running a hand through his hair, he shook his head trying to clear it.
A light knock on the door caused him to jump in surprise. "Young master...you seem rather unrest...is everything alright...?"
Ciel took a moment to catch his lost breath and regained composure. "Come in."
The door opened and the lights flickered on. Sebastian stood there with a smile on his face as always. "Young master, it seems you've had a nightmare."
"Don't say such pathetic things." Ciel interjected, crossing his arms,"I just have much resting on my mind is all. Just make me some warm tea to help me calm my nerves."
Sebastian shot a darkened glance before bowing his head and vanishing, leaving Ciel to his thoughts once more. Bringing his chin to his knees, he sighed and thought about your eyes once more.
Something suddenly hit him. The look in your eyes was inhuman. Because they weren't. A gleam in your eyes, a shot of red in your eyes. It was momentary, but when you grinned over your win, your eyes flickered red.
"She's a demon!" Ciel snapped, sitting up straight.
"My lord?" Turning his head, Ciel noticed Sebastian holding a questionable look for a brief moment. "I'm sorry to say that you are wrong on that account. I would have noticed if the Young Lady was a demon."
"But her eyes-!"
"You were clearly just upset about your loss." Sebastian smoothed over with a smile. "It must've been a figment of your imagination young master. Please, just drink some tea and calm down."
Ciel took a moment of silence before nodding and taking the cup of warm tea into his hands.

"Damn, what if he saw!?" You screeched, throwing a chair to the ground in anger as your father walked into the room. "Father! Sod off!"
"My lady, please tell me what if wrong." He pressed a white-gloved hand to his chest. "You've seen awfully unnerved since your mother passed on a few years ago. Do you need anything?"
"Just stay out of my sight!" You hissed, bringing your nails to your hands until blood came out. "I need to be alone father!"
"Yes, my lady." He bowed his head and left you to your own.
Tears poured down your face as soon as the door shut behind your father. Collapsing to your knees, you hit your fists against the ground in anger. This life wasn't your choice. How you even came to be was more surprising against all others.
Your mother had made a contract with your father, wishing only for someone to love her and bare her a child. She got her wish, you being the result of a demon and a human. Against all odds, you were half of each.
Now you were bound to a contract with your own father, the only wish you wished granted was to find true happiness. When that was achieved, your human soul would be taken, leaving only demon left in you.
The stress was terrible, thinking the only thing awaiting you in life was servitude to someone who didn't deserve it. The one thing that made you smile anymore was your times with Ciel. He was such an interesting person who never ceased to make you smile.
Once the deed was done, you'd have to live through his death, the deaths of everyone you loved, for eternity.

The Phantomhive household, what a glorious thing to you. As you approached the gates, you couldn't help but smile at the peaceful scene. Sure, the second you stepped in, you knew the service hands would be running themselves ragged as always.
You stepped out of the carriage at the foot of the manor's steps. Sebastian was waiting with Ciel at the door as always, Sebastian with a kind smile and Ciel with a pout on his face.
Walking up by yourself, you curtsied,"Good day to you both. Sebastian. Earl Ciel."
"It's a pleasure to see you again." Sebastian bowed, looking up with a grin. "I assume you are wondering why the young master has called you here today. Please, allow us to escort you to the Earl's private quarters. I believe we have some business to discuss."
You nodded, following Ciel's lead. Sebastian hung back beside you, an unnerving feeling rushing through you. He bent over beside you, brushing the (h/c) strands from your ears. "The young master suspects nothing.
"I regret to inform you that his soul is my property. Although he has taken a liking to you, he will always be my young mater." A chill ran up your spine at his cold voice. You knew all along that his butler was a demon, much like your father but you had yet to experience any harshness from him. You didn't even know he knew about you. "Then again, I can tell you're not entirely a demon either, are you?"
"What are you playing at Sebastian?" You whispered back, looking intently towards Ciel who didn't even seem to notice your conversation.
"You will see in a moment my lady." Ciel led you into his office, you had never been allowed inside before. It was rather plain, the only thing sticking out was a desk and chair towards the end of the room by the window.
"Sebastian," Ciel interrupted,"Please get me and __________ some tea."
"Yes, my lord."
As Sebastian passed you, your eyes locked with each other with literal sparks being seen between your gaze. Following Ciel deeper into the room, you sighed in exasperation. "Ciel, you know it's a pain to come all the way out here. What ever is the matter?"
"I have broken off my pervious engagement with lady Elizabeth." He spoke simply, taking a seat behind the desk before ushering you towards a seat at the desk. "And I was hoping to arrange an engagement with you."
"As in marriage?" He nodded calmly, folding his hand on top of his desk. "Ciel, I have to refuse. I'm self aware of your position, seeing as how I'm in a similarly identical one."
You pulled your dress down partially at the shoulder and turned to show him the marking on your right shoulder. "Ciel...your soul and my soul are already destined to be taken. Only mine..."
"So?" His calm voice struck you. "We were bound to die beforehand, weren't we? Why does it matter now?" You brought your dress back in place and looked over at him. "Why let death worry us?"
"I don't think you understand Ciel, I'm not-"
"Young master, young lady, should we begin preparing for this engagement?" Sebastian crawled back in with tea. "I've prepared Earl Grey, as you requested my lord."
"Thank you Sebastian."
He bowed his head, his eyes narrowed as yours connected once more. "As for the engagement, please inform everyone."
Again, Sebastian slid out of the room. "I don't care you know. Life was meant to end at one point. A king deserves a proper queen to manipulate the pawns and protect him. And I've chosen you as my queen, black as night."
"Ciel, please understand..." You begged softly. "Once my contract is sealed, I won't be human. I know you saw it, my eyes turn red as our butler's. My human soul will be consumed and I will be left as a demon."
"It doesn't matter to me." He said softly, taking your hand swiftly from across the table. Before you knew it, you were pulled over towards him, his lips pressed firmly against yours.
Your eyes widened, the shock of such an unnecessary action closing in on you. Pulling away, you just stared at him, playfully grinning towards you. "Will you become my queen and help me achieve what I gave my soul for?"
A grin spread on your face.
"Yes, my lord."

The metal doorknob felt cold under your hand, but you clutched it anyways, slowly turning until the door clicked open. You poked your head around the door and sighed, thankful that the disastrous chef with a tendency to set things on fire wasn’t yet awake.
Quickly, you made your way to the storage room, pulling out ingredients to make a cake for the young master’s birthday. A can of Earl Grey tea was higher up on the shelves and you stretched to reach it, placing one hand on the shelf below to steady yourself.
Finally wrapping your frigid fingers around the metal can

Chapter 1: Entering the Household
The death of young Miss Elizabeth shook the Phantomhive manor roughly. Her death was unexpected, it was unpredicted, and it was sudden. Even Ciel's butler, Sebastian, who could perform any task with the up-most grace and perfection, couldn't halt her death.
It was meant to be. And so it happened.
When she had died everyone in the household had really expressed the meaning of 'you don't know what you have until it's gone.' Everyone missed the exuberant, nice, and clingy girl. Ciel, one Sebastian didn't expect to feel such a loss from, was also affected. He stayed shut up for several weeks.
When Sebastian a

CielXReader- Chapter 10
"My mom grew up in a very noble home. She was rich, with the most elegant dresses, elaborate tea sets, and intricate paintings on every wall. Her mansion, practically as large as yours, was her home for many years. Then she was married off, to my father of course, who was also a noble. My father worked for his money, he grew up in a less than upper class home. His upbringing was what helped him achieve the status of a Viscount.
"When they first met, as my father always says, 'we looked intently into one another's eyes, lost forever without a care.' They were truly in love, yet my mother was a selfish person. The finest things could not pleas
