ChinaxReader: Thank You Big Brother

  You clung onto your big brother's clothing, hiding like you shy little self behind him. In front of you stood England, a man you hated with all your heart and soul for what he did to brother's home.

  That beautiful canal brother built so long ago got partially destroyed by him and then he took big brother Hong Kong away from you too. He sent your brother off into the ocean and you were left alone with big brother Japan.

  And now, not only did England stand in your home, but a few other faces. "Onhonhon~" A long, blond haired man said, looking at you rather...suspiciously. "China, who is this?"

  Your brother immediately took you into his arms,"Haven't all of you taken enough land from me aru?" He snapped, defensively holding you close. "Besides, you already have Indochina!"

  "Then why don't I just take her off your hands?" England said, approaching you both with his arms outstretched. As soon as your brother noticed you shake in fear, he covered you up a bit and pulled you away.

  He snarled a bit,"She's my sister aru!" His voice was almost scary. You've never heard him talk in such a way,"I'm not letting any of you have her!"

  "I'll take her off your hands, da?" A very dark-looking man with light blond hair and extremely tall. China was obviously afraid of this man.

  Though he still fastened you close, he shook a bit. "N-no Russia...you...you can't take ________ away from me too!"

  But he didn't seem to care and with a child-like smile, he literally snatched you from China's arms. "I'll be watching over her for you, da?"

  You struggled to break from his grasp, literally in tears. "I-I want C-China..." In a futile attempt, you stretched your arms out to China, your visioned blurred by tears.

  China sighed, stepping towards you. Russia believed it to be an attempt to take you back, but China held his hands up,"I'm not taking her...just let me talk to her aru."

  He seemed a bit unsure but he let you down from his grasp. The second your feet hit the ground, you ran into his arms in tears. "China! China! Don't do this to me!"

  He pulled you closer to him,"I'm sorry ________...but I can't beat Russia...just be careful, okay?"

  You nodded as you were pried away from your big brother. All you could do is cry defensively and beat your tiny fists into Russia's chest until you were too tired to even stay awake.

  When you woke up, you were in a new home with a new person you had no idea about. But he was asleep beside you, holding you close. Though he wasn't China. This was a scary man you had no idea about. All you wanted was to have your big brother hold you close under the silk bed sheets. But it felt like an eternity would have to pass before you saw him.

  "__________-san!" Japan cried out from the other room,"Get out from under the kotatsu!"

  Pulling yourself from under the cozy sheets that lay over you, you groan from the temperature change,"Why!?" You whined as you buried yourself underneath once more.

  He came into the room holding a tray of tea and sighing,"You've been under there arr morning..." He breathed as he placed the tray on the table, taking extra care to make sure it barely made a sound as it hit the surface.

  Sitting up, you watched as he poured a cup and placed it before you,"Arigato..." Though you didn't take a drink at first. "Hey...Japan?"

  He looked over a bit curiously before placing the cup to his mouth,"I was wondering...a-am I ever going to see China again? I mean..." Japan raised his eyebrow in curiosity,"You're neighbors, right? And even though I look at you like a brother too..."

  He placed the half-full cup of tea on the table,"________-san..." He breathed,"You've asked me time and time again. Do you rearry want to see him that badry?"

  You nodded, plea was shimmering in your (e/c) eyes. "Yes Japan." You tried to sound a bit more powerful when speaking to him, but you voice cracked a bit.

  He looked down at the table, furrowing him brows in concentration for a few minutes before sighing in defeat,"I'rr arrange something..." He muttered before looking back towards you.

  You were grinning happily,"Thank you Japan! I-I mean arigato!" He couldn't help but smile a bit too seeing you happy.

  "But," He cut off, making you look towards him with a confused look,"Be sure to come back afterwards." He was still smiling,"I'd be too ronery without you."

  Bowing your head respectively, you grinned,"I wouldn't dream of it onii-chan." Though, in your excited state, you threw yourself at him, kissing his forehead and giving him a hug before dashing of, leaving him there in a mainly shocked state.

  As the plane dropped down and touched the ground, your stomach lurched a bit. 'It was awfully nice of Japan to get me a flight here...' Time seemed almost irrelevant as you stood up.

  Walking out of the plane through the bustling and lively airport, you seemed a bit out of spirit. It felt like forever before your luggage even arrived on the conveyer belt and after that, everything seemed like a dream.

  There were people of all sorts waiting out the double-doors for friends, family and business-people. Though you wanted the one person who surpassed all in age and yet held the same face as the day you left. A face all knows, but no one does. 'Why am I getting all soul-searchy!?' You mentally beat yourself.

  Looking around, you noticed one person stood out in the crowd. He had long brown hair which was tied back in a ponytail and he wore rather traditional clothing. "China...?" You breathed to yourself. He didn't look a day older. But that wasn't true.

 Walking over to him, you made it look like you were to pass him. Only, you stopped beside him. "Are you waiting for someone sir?" You asked rather formally.

  China seemed a bit confused. "Yea...was there a girl named ________ on the plane with you aru?"

  Trying not to laugh, you nodded,"Yes. Actually, she sat beside me on the ride over. Though, I believe she said something about a connection to-"

  "A-a connection?" He went to dash off, but you grabbed his arm. "W-what are you-"

  "Nice to see you again...big brother." He nearly collapsed when you breathed out the last words before latching onto you. "G-geez...you never do change, do you?"

  He laughed a bit as you let go of your luggage and hugged him back. "I really don't, do I aru?" Both of your eyes watered up a bit as he held you for the first time in ages...literally. "I really missed you ________..."

  You nodded, taking in his scent slightly, such a familiar tang that made you instantly relax. "I missed you too..." Your grip on him increased, not wanting to let go of him in fear of loosing him again.

  He let go of you, but you stayed very much clung on. "Hey ______..." You instantly let go, blushing slightly. "It's okay. Common, let's just get you settled in. You've had a long flight."

  You nodded, wiping the tears away from your eyes as he grabbed your things. "Thanks...and sorry, I've just really missed you."

  He laughed a bit as you two approached a car which he loaded up with your things. As he drove you both, you caught up with each other. "...so not soon after Russia took custody of me, Japan was able to take me to his home. I'm grateful to him for that though. Russia was scary..."

  China listened and nodded every now and then to confirm so. "Russia is scary...he broke into my home more than once aru..." He sighed, pulling into the home you grew up in. Again, very traditional.

  As you stepped out, you got a sense of sanctuary and peace that brought you back to your childhood. Taking a few steps towards the home, you barely remembered that China was lugging all of your things in tow.

  Turning around, you noticed him carrying everything and quickly rushed to his side and took everything from him,"I'm in my old room, right?" He nodded and followed you back to the room you once remembered.

  Stepping in, you remembered such cherished things from your old life and that day when you were literally taken by force away from your home that you loved so much. Though, you had grown and it looked like the room grew with you. Everything was changed up. But that was okay.

  Taking a step up to an unfamiliar bed, you noticed a little silk blanket of aqua with cotton-like material around the edge. "You kept my blanket?" Picking it off the covers, you held it close to your heart,"I can believe it..."

  "You can take it this time aru." China said, approaching from behind. He rested his hand on your shoulder. "I'll make sure no one steals you this time."

  You laughed a bit, resting your head on his hand. "Thank you...big brother."
