  Sitting outside, you looked over the edge of the cliff you were perched on, which coincidently where your friend Australia's home was. You had just arrived a few moments before and you wanted to take full effect of the view.

  For years, you had spent time with most of your European friends and visited them on occasion. When you visited England not so long ago, his brother Australia was also visiting him and you instantly connected.

  So he offered you to come visit him eventually and you could not deny. So when the cold days of winter vacation came upon you, you took it upon yourself to call him and ask if you could visit Australia, in the midst of its summer. And he simply could not refuse. 

  And now there you were, looking upon the coat of Australia in a tank top and shorts, watching people surf in the water and swim around.

  "How do you like the view, mate?" You turn around to see your friend grinning at you, his olive green eyes shinning in the sunlight. You loved that Australian accent,"Enjoying the weather?"

  "Oh my gosh, I love it!" You breathed in awe before averting your (e/c) eyes to the scene once more,"It's so warm and beautiful!"

  You felt his presence beside you, watching the people at the beach below,"I hope they don't run into any sharks while they're out there."

  You looked a bit horrified at him,"Y-you are kidding, right?"

  He laughed,"You would be surprised, mate. Usually, they're out there but no one seems to notice them."

  "Since when did you change your name to 'Steve Erwin'?" You laughed a bit.

  "Oh shush you." He snapped playfully back.

  With that, you both started cracking up. You really enjoyed being in his company. You let yourself fall back and giggle a bit more as you let the warm air brush past your face.

  He sat beside you,"You you maybe wanna go down there later?"

  "I just got here," You said while shoving his shoulder gently,"You want to see me in a bikini that badly?"

  He shoved you back playfully,"Well, when we visited my brother, it was too cold out for swimming."

  "And depressing..." You thought of the grey skies in London when you visited compared to the sapphire one here.

  "Crikey, look at that beaut." He pointed out one wave out and you smiled, seeing someone coming out of the barrel,"There isn't anything more awesome than being in that part."

  "I know," You never actually mentioned that you surfed to him,"I've had my share of surfing. Being in the barrel is the most amazing feeling ever."

  "Yea, I love it." You looked over at him with a grin. He had a smile on his face and peace-of-mind written on his face,"Makes you feel alive."

  Standing up, you walked towards the home,"Well, how about I get settled in and then we can walk down there."

  He looked at you happily,"Alright."

  On the walk there, you two tried catching up and laughing just about everyday things,"So, can I encounter a Koala or something exotic while I'm here."

  "Oh sure," He said with a smile on his face,"There are plenty of Koala and there are also wallabies and other cool things around. I might need to give you a tour one day while you're here."

  You laughed,"I just wanted to hear you say 'wallabies' but I would love to." You grabbed onto his hand and smiled gently at him,"An adventure with my friend Australia."

  Within the next few steps, you started to feel the sand hitting your feet. It was warm, almost burning your feet. But it was nice compared to the freezing cold weather some people were dealing with right now.

  "So, is there anything else you wanna hear me say?"

  You thought for a moment,"How about 'G'day mate'?" A smile spread upon your face.

  "I'll say it tomorrow when you wake up," He said while you looked at him pitifully. But you couldn't argue. He was letting you stay over in his home.

  Sighing in defeat, you told him it was okay. That's when your feet touched the cold water, making you jump,"Holy crapola that's cold!"

  Australia laughed at you,"You're fine mate. It's just the water. It won't bite'cha."

  You pouted as you let the waves gently hit your feet now,"I know it won't smartass." But it was in vain and you started laughing again.

  He pulled you a bit closer to him from the waist suddenly and you felt your face get red. You looked over at him to see red on his face but also a small smile. His green eyes met you (e/c) ones and he flinch, quickly looking away and laughing nervously,"S-sorry...I'll le'go if you want."

  Smiling, you shook your head,"Nah, I'm cool."

  The next morning, you awoke to the beautiful sight of the sun shinning through the windows. Australia must've liked the natural light since most of his home consisted of windows that filled up the entire wall. That included the room you were staying in.

  But upon making your way to looking outside, you noticed the view once more and smiled. You made your way to the door in hopes he was awake already.

  When you made it to the kitchen, you noticed that he only wore pajama pants at the moment. Hearing you, he turned around with a smile,"G'day _______."

  You giggled a bit, your face completly red,"G-good morning A-Australia."

  He turned around with to look at you which caused your face to grow even more red,"Are you feeling okay? Your face is all red." What's worse is that he came up in front of you and brushed the (h/c) hair out of your face, resting his hand on your forehead,"You feel really hot."

  "I-I feel fine...!" You stammered, but you felt the room spinning a bit,"I-I'm just not u-used to seeing you s-shirtless..." That's when you realize that he was a 
pretty good looking guy.

  "I'll throw a shirt on if you feel embarrassed."

  "N-no! I-I mean...if you're used to it..." You didn't want to be a bother,"Y-you don't have to..."

  "I need to change anyways. We're going exploring today, so be ready in ten."

  Then before you knew it, you were at the airport, saying your goodbyes. You two stood in complete silence as you held your hand out with a heavy heart. He took it gently but rather than shake your hand, he pulled you into his embrace,"I'm gunna miss you _______."

  "I'm gunna miss you too..." With that, you both broke off and you went off to security. 

  But the second you got into line, you heard your name once more.  Turning around, two arms went around your body and pulled you into a deep and passionate kiss. You kissed Australia back just as passionately as he broke away,"I never told you how pretty I thought you were...I didn't know when I'd see you again mate."

  You hugged him tightly,"I love you Aussie..." You whispered into his ear.

  "I love you too."
