Wandering through the city in the beautiful country of Germany, you let out a worried sigh. You were completely lost beyond all belief and couldn't translate for the life of you.
Pausing at a street corner, you try to indicate any source of help or direction...just anything. The people who passed you all spoke so foreign to you and you couldn't even call anyone. Your phone fell from your pocket awhile back and broke.
Your eyes fell on a man in uniform with 'POLIZEI' written on the back in bold, white letters who was standing across the street. He was a really tall and built blond with his hair slicked underneath his hat (save a few straddling blond hairs in his face).
After a moment, you noticed his body turn slightly and you could tell easier now that his eyes were blue and were staring off at another officer who was a few inches shorter than he was with messy white hair. Straining your ears, you heard them speaking in pure German and decided not to bother seeing as how you couldn't even ask for help if needed.
Only then did he catch onto your (e/c) eyes laying on him. His blue eyes connected with yours and you flinched, obviously intimidated. You tried looking away but his gaze seemed unbreakable. Until he turned his head away, spoke something in German to the albino officer and came over to you.
He crossed the road while you remained glued in your spot. As he approached and his figures became more visible to you, you wanted to run in fear but you stayed cemented to the ground below.
Even though he was a few feet away from you, he spoke in a deep voice,"Warum starren sie mich an?" The words got caught in your throat and he spoke a bit louder,"Na!?"
"I-I'm sorry..." You said, barely above a whisper,"I-I don't speak German...."
Looking up at him, you noticed he loosened up a bit and his eyes seemed to soften. "Sorry, I didn't know that you couldn't speak." His perfect English took you completely off guard. "Vhat vas so interesting on mein side of the road?"
"U-uh...I'm lost..." You said, still a bit nervous. "I-I came with some friends and they went off without me...I'm just...lost." You grinned nervously, yet a bit toothily in embarrassment.
"Vell, you seem a bit old to be classified under 'missing children' und I don't know who you're staying vith-"
"Oh, it's nearby...I-I think." You rubbed the back of your neck nervously. "Sorry, I'm not helping a lot, am I?"
"Nein, it's fine." His hand rested on your shoulder a bit. "I'm off duty in a bit...mein dumbkopft bruder is relieving mein shift. If you don't mind, come over for a bit so ve can figure everything out."
On a normal basis, you would be completely intolerant of leaving with a stranger in a foreign country to be at their home alone. But two things made your mind up. One, he spoke English. Two, he was a police officer so he couldn't have been all bad, right? "Um...I'd be glad to. Thank you..."
He smiled slightly towards you before walking forward a bit. Walking behind him, you crossed the street to the other officer who he referred to as his brother. He was looking at you mischivously with crimson eyes.
Both of them converged in German, making you completely confused once more. Sitting silently, you watched as their eyes darted towards your every now and then before turning back to the other. After a few moments, you felt him tug at your shoulder a bit.
Looking up, the blond looked at you a bit expectantly and you followed him. "Sorry about that...he can be a bit of an...idiot..."
Looking back, you noticed the albino was checking you out a bit. "Just ignore him." The blond exclaimed a bit, making you snap back into attention. "Dumpkopft..."
Both of you walked in silence for awhile. A radio clipped to the side of the man's belt turned on a few times to pure German and at one point, he turned it off. "M-my name is ___________..." You said rather plainly after awhile.
He turned his head slightly and looked at you from the corner of his icy blue eyes before turning away. "Ich heisse Ludvig..." You noticed him look to the dull and darkening skies. "I think it's going to rain later..."
Pretty much after that, you stayed silent, except for on time when you stumbled a bit and you apologized a bit under your breath. He brought you to an apartment complex like most of the buildings in the city you were at.
Ludwig walked you in a bit and stopped you at an elevator. The button clicked as he pressed it and it lit up. He coughed into his fist a bit,"E-erm...i-if you're hungry..." You looked over at him a bit curiously and his face was a bit red,"I-I vas planning on cooking...only if you don't mind though..."
It was kind of funny, seeing a man, as built and intimidating as him in a police uniform having trouble talking to a girl. Nodding a bit as a ding indicated the elevator arrived and the doors slid open, you replied. "Sure Ludwig."
The ride up was silent as before, a bit more intensely tense than before. When the door opened on the designated floor, both of you scrambled out a bit to each others shock before he led you to one of the bigger doors on the floor.
He fiddled for some keys in his pocket before unlocking the door and revealing what felt like a penthouse. It was beautiful and the view was breathtakingly amazing, especially with the dark of the night settling in and the lights shining below you.
Ludwig took the first step in, flicking the lights on. The room was decorated wonderfully and that was only part of the home. Looking around the room, you noticed other doors and even a set of spiral steps. "Ludwig, your home is amazing!"
You heard him chuckle a bit as you walked in. He took of his jacket off and tossed it on the couch, revealing that he was wearing a short-sleeved, button-down olive shirt with a black tie. Already, your face was red seeing his muscles but it turned darker when you noticed him loosening the tie and starting to unbutton the shirt.
A bit nervous suddenly, you turned away a bit. You heard him stepping away from where you stood and his shoe hit the first stair, making it groan,"I'll be back in ein minute."
Nodding a bit, you turned around when you suspected he left. Taking a few steps in, you approached the couch and sat down a bit. Looking at the black coat resting beside you, you took it and folded it as your mother would tell you to before placing it on a coffee table that stood in front of you.
Ludwig came downstairs a few minutes later in a wife's beater and sweatpants on, slicking his hair back a bit with one hand. "Sorry, it's been a long day-" He noticed you sitting there with patient (e/c) eyes before his eyes went to his jacket,"You didn't have to..."
"It's fine. Maybe you'd rather call out for food...?" He walked down the rest of the steps and sat beside you,"You seem pretty beat and I don't want to seem like a pain."
Ludwig was silent for a few moments before a light smile cornered his lips,"Ja, that sounds pretty nice right now...vhat are you up for...?"
You both ended up just ordering pizza and eating while watching some stupid movie on the couch...like a date kind of.
Taking another piece of pizza (which was cut into little squares), you held it up a bit. "Cheers, to new friendship." He did the same with the slice in his hand before taking a bite into the cheesy, tomato-pasted bread.
Both of you relaxed a bit more, just talking about everyday things. Ludwig told you about how much of his flirt his brother was and his friend, Feliciano who lived in Italy (that went on for about 30 minutes alone).
Eventually, you went on about home life. Siblings, friends, just every day things. You complained about your mom being a bit uptight sometimes, but you loved her nonetheless. "You know, I think school's the worst."
"Well," You started,"All the girls worry about looks. I don't really though because I mean...why should I care. If a guy likes me, it should be for me. Not for how pretty I am with makeup on or how low my shirt is."
"Oh...?" He said a bit curiously,"So you have a boyfriend...?"
"Nah." You said, resting your cheek on your hand. "Why do you ask...?"
"Uh v-vell..." He said a bit nervously all of a sudden,"Y-you're pretty..."
Looking over at him, you noticed his face was red as a brick. "Y-you think I'm...pretty...? T-thank you..."
He let his hand rest on your cheek a bit, making you sit up straight in attention. Blush spread across your face quickly as he did while his hand brushed away some (h/l)(h/c) hair in your face. "I mean it though." He pulled your gaze back to his.
You felt his face inch closer to yours and you couldn't help but shut your eyes and enjoy the moment while it lasted. His lips pressed tenderly against yours to your confusion. You thought he would've been more rough and have more strength behind it.
Pulling away from each other after a moment, you stared into each others eyes. He broke the gaze quickly though,"I-I'm sorry...I didn't mean to-"
"No, it was fine." You smiled a bit as your cheeks heated up. "You know, when I first saw you, I though you looked...really cute...that might've been why I was staring at you for so long."
"Vell, mein bruder vanted to talk to you, but I insisted I talk vith you alone." He grinned a bit. "I guess ve both feel a bit of attraction..."
"I really like you Ludwig..."
"Ich hab dich sehr gern auch ___________..."
The next morning, Gilbert stepped into the house with his jacket over his shoulder,"Vest...! Vhere's breakfast-" He spotted him asleep on the couch with your body leaned against his and his jacket over your shoulders.
Gilbert smiled and mentally rewarded himself,"That's mein bruder."
